In autumn 2024, their first joint exhibition took place at the Krull Quarter in Tallinn. It quickly became clear that this was not a one-off project, but only the beginning. Now the artists come together in Tartu, where the spacious rooms of Gallery Pallas have made it possible to expand the exhibition and present a wider selection of works.
“Working with Evi and Kaupo has deepened my understanding of the monumental power of art – generations may change, yet as human beings we continue to return to the same questions, and we are closer to one another than we might think,” said curator Kadri Asmer.
In addition to graphic art and photography, the exhibition features sound and video projections based on the works of both Tihemets and Kikkas.
The exhibition runs until 18 October. Artist and curator tours will take place on 24 September at 5 pm (Kaupo Kikkas) and on 11 October at 3 pm (Kadri Asmer).
