NOBA Nordic Baltic contemporary art platform

The exhibition revolves around the Obscure Cities (Les Cités obscures), graphic novel by François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters. Emphasis will be placed on architectural concepts and will present new coloured serigraphs of “La Fièvre d’Urbicande” and original drawings by “Brüsel” and “La Frontière invisible”. Videos of the work process and digital images will also be on display.

The exhibition will be open on 18th of June.
Benoît Peeters – the graphic novelist of the series – will give a lecture on Obscure Cities on 9th of September at the Estonian Museum of Architecture

Estonian translation of the graphic novel “La Fièvre d’Urbicande” will be published in June as “Segadus Urbicande’is” (translation Anu Lutsepp, language editing Kaja Randam, graphics Koit Randmäe, publisher Estonian Architecture Museum)
