NOBA Nordic Baltic contemporary art platform

At the annual exhibition of the Estonian Glass Artists' Association "Color - Red", 17 glass artists have presented interpretations of red in a glass, which was selected by a 3-member jury consisting of ceramicist and associate professor Ingrid Allik, jewelery artist and gallerist Maria Valdma, artist and lecturer Urmas Lüüs.

The color red, which offers many shades of meaning, has been freely interpreted by artists based on the variety of possible scenarios, metaphors and meanings. What binds is the complex character of intense color – the ability to grab, bind and store.
