The Anniversary Exhibition

The anniversary exhibition will present Kunstnernes Hus’s history through the impact of the house’s history and archive in dialogue with a brand new work by the Norwegian-Sudanese artist Cassius Fadlabi (b. 1975). The exhibition will offer a concentrated and anecdotal approach to our history. Fadlabi is one of Oslo’s most prominent, younger painters and has created a social artist environment with its viewing place and social arena Khartoum. In his striking works, Fadlabi combines everything from Ethiopian church icons and murals in African barbersalons to Afrofuturism and pop art.
