POETRY AND VIOLENCE

In the performance “Poetry and Violence” the human will meet the machine outside of the great narratives. There is a machine, created by our own image. We have no ambition to use it to triumph above our species. We will make no attempt to save the world from insidious technology. We will not force the human language upon the machine. The machine will be given a chance to express itself in its own language. However, the questions will be asked in a resolute way. What we do to the machine is both beautiful and terrifying. Perverse and aesthetic. Comic and tragic.

Premiere on August 19, at Artfactory ARS (Stuudio 98) in Tallinn.

Performances on August 21, 22, 25, 26 and 29 at 19:00.
