On Wednesday, June 3, at seven o'clock, the gleam of the universe created by OKEIKO will appear on the walls of the Fahle Gallery. The portal to the worlds painted by the author is open for exactly one month, so that it can disappear from the walls like a sand mandala.

OKEIKO is a creator, street artist and designer of painted worlds and spaces. The drawing pen has been between her fingers since she was a little girl, and the long journey to Australia in 2007 provided the impetus for finding her characteristic visual language. After the trip, Okeiko continued to sketch and draw on a daily basis, during which a completely characteristic picturesque world developed, which is constantly being refined and further advanced. Okeiko’s main desire is to simply visualise the joy of being. As the name suggests, all the characters created by the author are always joyful and happy – creating an irresistible desire in the viewer to be a part of their essence and world. Okeiko likes to experiment and this is how her worlds are revealed to us through various media and techniques – street art, drawings, paintings, drypoint, screen printing, installations, decorations and also visuals at music events (VJ).

The exhibition will be ended on 03.07. with a conversation with the creator of her creations.
