As part of his photo project, Martin Buschmann mapped the advertising lighting of Tallinn's night shopping streets and public transport stops. Originally designed as an environmental critic, the documentary study turned into a slightly ironic, film-noir art project during image processing.

Martin Buschmann: “I became interested in who the night light advertisements are for. Nowadays, when companies try to present themselves as particularly green and environmentally friendly, it somehow seems ambiguous. Photos shared on social media are often indiscriminately thrown into filters without much thought, and the result can be as visually disturbing as empty, artificially bright streets. it fits or whether the result is visually pleasing.”

Kristel Schwede, curator of the exhibition: “Light pollution is a controversial phenomenon. Astronomers are angry that the light from cities and settlements is hindering their work in exploring the starry sky. their journey into the city hall is safely lined with street lamps and, in addition, with advertisements and illuminated buildings.
