The exhibition "Landscapes" consists of paintings depicting visual games of thought, inspired by the relationship between nature and anthropocene and measurement. Imaginary revanches of nature are carried with absurdity and displacement, the material is surreal, expressive and sensual.

Karin Strohm (1986) has a master’s degree in painting from the Estonian Academy of Arts, having previously graduated in sculpture at the Tartu Art College and studied installation at the Estonian Academy of Arts. In her active art work, Strohm has reflected her educational path, moving gradually from sculpture to installation and then into painting. Strohm’s illusory, the possibility to build simular shrines with the help of colors, captivates painting as a medium.
