Tarrvi Laamann's exhibition "G-Coffee" brings reggae to the viewer in Staapli 3 gallery rhythmic optimistic impulse paintings and graphics. Tarrvi's creative work is versatile - he has exhibited his art both in Estonia and abroad, has published books and music and his work is in various collections In Estonia, Finland, Jamaica, China, etc.

The artist describes: “The work of this exhibition became colorful and contrasting like Jamaican life. The inhabitants of the island and there have given inspiration lush nature – warm sun and the Caribbean Sea. I have taken the impulse directly about nature and local culture – I printed hemp leaves on a plywood board and I added acrylic paint in bright tones typical of Jamaica as a last coat, which flows and pulsates in paintings like local folk music – reggae in rhythms. “

Tarrvi Laamann is an artist with Estonian roots and a traveler who already has for the last twenty years its second home on the island of Jamaica. He is graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in graphics (MA) and continued his education In Japan and India. Tarrvi is a guest lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Higher School of Art in Pallas and has been the Estonian Artists’ Union since 1994 member.
