According to the artist Jaanika Bahval, clay is like a breathing living being. This ancient material is called the skin of the earth precisely because everything that passes through the clay becomes new and clean. The artist tries to pour clay so that all his paintings are born in a warm and positive place, because in addition to everything, clay also has energy-saving properties.

Jaanika Bahval started painting in 2018, but clay came to her life earlier when she became the owner of a clay house. Trying to find her style and expression for several years, Bahval began to try painting with clay. Abstract works come from the reaction of different clays and pigments. The clay paintings in the exhibition are harmonious, with an interesting and inviting texture and speak to the observer rather than gently whispering.

Jaanika Bahval uses the mixtures and colors of Saviukumaja in her works.
