Christian Kolverud ”Breeze”

In his series Breeze, Christian Kolverud works with abstracted natural landscapes, as seen through the window pane, as a point of departure. The image is worked and reworked through multiplication, addition and subtraction in a visual caper where reality on one side of the glass is modeled – as if the optics of the window distorts and manipulates the sense of reality. Kolveruds work also relates to the window in scale; through large formats that give us a view of the world outside – or inside.
