In the exhibitinion (Back)stage – installations, sculptural objects – were specifically designed for the gallery spaces.
These installations, sculptural objects were done imitating various textile techniques and products, adjusting the shape in a distinct way.
The main physical agents linking everything are unusual materials for textile and sculpture – ruberoid, bituminous coating, parchment.
The main idea is to portay a distinct outlook on cultural phenomena, such as ballet, liturgy in church, interior decoration, also taking inspiration from nature. I try to unveil the behind-the-scenes, show the other side of an object, a phenomena; to give alternative meanings and extend the understanding of certain cultural phenomena both in a material and immaterial sense. Also to give the objects a more varied, polysemantic context.
