Allik / Nõgisto Public relationship

The joint exhibition of Peeter Alliku and Robin Nõgisto, PUBLIC RELATIONSHIP, takes place on the second floor of Tartu Kaubamaja. The paintings of artists from two different generations are made to relate to each other in such a way that so many similarities and unexpected things are revealed. Although there is a gap of more than 30 years between the creation of the works, there are elements of absurdity, surrealism and social irony in the works of both. The exhibition also carries the goal of bringing painting out of the gallery into such a public space, where art experience is not highly expected. However, changing this behavior will hopefully lead to many positive surprises.
