With the painting We’ll see how it will turn out, I speak about the drifting and wavering of two people. All the stitches are knitted with love and thoughts of him. There’s a superstition that you shouldn’t knit a sweater for your boyfriend. These sweaters become like a flag, hung up in a living space. A frozen wave of a flag. A trial. A trying-on of sweaters. This work has participated in my solo exhibition “Freehand” in gallery Arka, Vilnius, Lithuania, 2025
