Violet is an oil triptych installed in the space. The figures in the painting create a mirror-like reflection, where they are close to each other, and yet out of reach. The work’s composition alludes to ancient mythologies, Sappho, metaphors, and iconographic imagery. At the same time, however, it creates a corporeal reality in the present. The work depicts sexuality and passion, but above all, love is at its core. The work is part of the BFA exhibition.
