This work was part of my exhibition Columna Cochlis, held at Vabaduse Gallery in Tallinn in 2026. In this work, I explore the connection between ancient traditions, memory and the gradual emergence of form. Inspired by folk myths and the aesthetics of ancient crafts, I combine intuitive exploration with experimentation in materials and textures. Rather than illustrating a specific story, I allow forms and associations to emerge naturally through the process of making, creating a dialogue between past and present. In this work, I reflect on the contemporary world through the myth of Romulus and Remus, the twin brothers who founded ancient Rome and were raised by a she-wolf. The she-wolf’s milk flows from her breasts, but I wonder: where are the heroes who would drink it today?
