Skalbe’s work “The red list” is about human species and how would they evolve, if there wouldn’t be any other chance to survive. “The red list” is a book that contains 111 hand drawn illustrations. Illustrations make fluent animation when put together and fast forwarded. This book is her graduation work. It has participated in exhibition “Fresh meat for qritique” in The Former Faculty of Biology of the University of Latvia in Riga, Latvia which is open till 28th June. In addition to the book, she has made animation and 4 silkscreen prints which are also viewable in the exhibition.
