In my bachelor‘s final project I aim to explore the topic of humanity‘s addiction to plastic through antropomorphic figures. These creatures are fiction of how people are going to look in the future if current habits related to consumerism won‘t change. They sort of mould into one with the garbage – the real parts are being gradually replaced by various packages: the skin is covered with waste and even the inside is affected by this “evolution”. I portray these figures in various forms, seeking to visualize the same theme in different ways: starting with paintings, moving on to assemblages and finally spatial sculptures. In addition, I use psychedelic art motifs: bright contrasting colors and repetitive patterns. This way I aim to convey the internal chaos and confusion caused by addictions
