Human hair, hairdryer

The sculpture is assembled from professional blowdryer and human hair. It looks like a sad Manga character, its hair blowing and, from the heat of the dryer, spreading the smell of an anonymous humans collected experience. Most of the human hair in western countries is origin from India, where the hair is donated for religious practices. Whereas in western culture it is seen as the ultimate beauty ritual. With buying human hair, it is almost like with antiques; we don’t necessarily know its origin. Hair, however, is carrying a lot of information and past experiences about the person.
