The idea for work came from realistic razor sticker that was an anonymous artwork made on the floor in my department in Academy. It always got my attention because it its hyperrealistic form and will to touch it. It is also a comment about consumer society and how they make titles for products just to make the people buy them. The sculpture made from steel is a reverse of razor, the empty part of it. The title of the artwork came from simillar titles used to sell razors in beauty shops. Actually that is a on object that can make your skin dammaged and also is associated to suicide. The work has several interpretations from viewers – some people that the form looks like piercing, dumbbell or even butt plug, that shows this work’s many layers.
