65 x 50 cm

õli lõuendil, teras (oil on canvas, steel)

This work is part of the series “Loaded Vacuity”, a collection of nine paintings exhibited at TASE’25 Graduation Show in Tallinn. At the heart of the series is a process that strives for the fading of all meaning and significance, to make room for sincere vacuity. It explores the reconfiguration of values and the search for them in unexpected places. With good will, these paintings might appear to be nothing at all. With ill will, one might find drying socks, fighting cats, and midnight pasta cooking. Worst of all, value and significance might creep back in.
