Pinokis / Pinocchio, 2019

This work is based on a story found in Matthijs van Boxsel ‘Encyclopedia of stupidity’. It was about Pinocchio as a perfect monarch model. ‘He is made from wood, heartless, he doesn’t obey his parents. But as the story goes, he slowly starts showing his human simptoms. His nose is strating to grow when he lies, which is a sign of him having a conscience. But when he shoes his sence of duty and love, he becomes a real human made from flesh and blood. He then finds himself as a marionette sitting on a chair.’
