The title work of the solo exhibition held in 2024. The exhibition “Open to the Winds” is inspired by the vastness associated with the sea – the feeling of freedom that the winds bring. New smells and thoughts also come with the winds across the sea, and somewhere there is a longing for distant places that invite you to discover yourself. However, discovery can also be found closer, among the algae and in the endless reflections on the water, in the lapping of the waves and in the mountains that have been washed away. The landscapes awaken subconscious connections with the personal and the universal, and together create unique paintings with a touch of magical realism.
