Oil and distemper on canvas
The artist´s comment on the artwork:
“V. Kandisky defined white as emptiness, as a pause in the middle of the piece but full of creative potency.
What happens when the pause lasts to long?
The works in this project question white and light, especially how they are different and how they are the same, as well as the psychology of colour. The artist is interested in the very tiny contrast between absence and presence of colour. The paintings were created over time and in daylight, covering layers of white by others layers of white, like erasing. The subtle shift in color can appear while moving or looking from another angle.”
