The Leaf Repository series connects the natural and artificial worlds—its materials, too, can be either organic or industrial. It depicts various types of leaves: tree leaves, newspaper pages, laurel and oak leaves. The three colors—red, yellow, and green—refer to autumn, but also to value judgments: one might prefer yellow, another red. Or is it perhaps a reference to a traffic light? The motif of a “depot” suggests organization and the preservation of values. Formally, the leaves come together to form an architectural structure—like a house.
