The artwork “I am Space” is a continuation of synthesized material and theme depicted in the artwork “In the Mental Space” which is dealing with the mutual interaction between a man’s inner world and outer world. Such mutual interaction results in tension which causes the lack of attention and hinders the ability to perceive the reality as it is in the outer world. The conception of the artwork comprises the structural quest for artistic expressiveness and form parallelly with the existential paradigms. The initial form has been transformed into another material thus obtaining a new shape and image of its existence, and new aesthetic qualities of cast iron are being sought for in the contemporary context.
