The purpose of this work is to discover and analyse the suppositions behind the creation of sacred icon portrayals, as well as the ways how mystery of the icon manifests in the portrayal. It will also explore the meaning and the influence of the colours, compositions, and symbols in the cultural and historical context. The artist decided to transform the Divine Mercy Image and the Saint Casimir paintings, creating new works, reflecting her own nature and personal life.
