The series “Completely Enough” by Anu Samarüütel stems from the recognition that a large part of humanity struggles with low self-esteem. Feelings of inadequacy often originate in childhood environments such as the home or school, and overcoming them can be a long and complex process.

Flowers appear throughout the series as recurring motifs symbolising personal growth and the process of coming into bloom. The imagery of houses and vases also plays an important role, representing protection, care and the creation of a safe personal space where self-acceptance and healing can take place.

The conceptual background of the series is further reflected in the installation “Measures of Enoughness.” A photograph of this installation is included in the exhibition to help frame the ideas of the series in a broader context. The installation itself is not for sale and does not form part of the painting, but is presented as contextual information about the artist’s conceptual approach.
