The painting “Fly agaric” tells about a character – a boy, who wears a costume of a poisonous mushroom while celebrating Christmas event at a kindergarten. It sort of reflects my personal present consciousness that appears to be ironic rather than naïve, while reflecting such experience of a child.
What to answer the viewer, who might ask: “Where did the second character of a painting gone?” Maybe that’s me – who is no longer in the world of childhood, but here – creating a picture of this particular world. Or it might be a vanished childhood memory that is now worrying.
