Flow, 2025

135 x 120 cm
€3600

Acrylic on canvas

The circle (Enso) in the painting symbolizes the freedom and presence that is born for a moment. The black square placed inside it, however, embodies the tensions and choices that modern man experiences: whether to go with the flow or swim against the current.
The opposition of the circle and the square creates a space where presence and an internal field of tension exist simultaneously. The work asks whether it is possible to be truly present even when there are structures, expectations and difficulties within us that determine the direction.
“Flow” opens a personal moment of balance – a place that seeks peace, but at the same time feels movement, pressure and change around itself and its relationships.

The work is exhibited at the Tartu Annual Art Exhibition from 19 December 2025 to 25 January 2026. In the event of a purchase, the work can be collected after the exhibition has ended.
