“I emphasize the images which appear from “dreamy consciousness”. This ambiguous state of mind arises at the short moment after waking up or falling asleep. At this state of fading consciousness, we tend to imagine things in their essential forms – the same way we remember most significant characteristics of objects and phenomena from our dreams. Those images usually are attached with memories of experiences and it makes them significant. While painting I try to embody these senses, through surface, color, rhythm and proportion, also cultural signs.”
