"Devoured II", 2024

30 x 30 cm

Collagraphy (Cardboard, plastic film)

The basis of the work is the interpretation of the fairy tale about Little Red Riding Hood. In many cultures, the wolf as a symbol has a negative definition and represents evil. Also in the work itself the wolf represents a turning point in life, an inevitable event (naturally in a negative way) which a person is powerless to prevent and which one can only humbly accept – this is reflected in the relaxed pose of the woman, she does not fight, but allows herself to be swallowed, to be devoured.
