Dauka. Journey to the Moon, 2022

I am applying for this award my costume design work that was prepared for Prague Quadreenial called “The coat of Crazy Daukas father” which symbolises both safety and security that is provided by the father in the family. Due to his fathers absence, I’ve designed it as a spacesuit, I was inspired by a picture of my father from his childhood, where he stood with his huge Teddy Bear, which symbolises his safety and comfort so my costume is on one hand, a space suit that protects from hostile environment but also gives safety and comfort for the outside world.
