I imitate reality in my own ways and bend it to my own purposes. I use real, existing objects, but I detach them from their utilitarian purpose – I move away from the functions and purposes of the devices, I look at them through an aesthetic, sensory prism. Objects no longer become things, but reflections of reality, imitations, symbols. Technological spaces in my works turn into alien, ghostly, unnatural territories. However, that cold environment paradoxically speaks of very natural human states: alienation, loneliness. Questions are raised about perception and non-perception, familiarity and non-familiarity…
