‘Body and Soul’ is a ceramic object instalation interpreting a a theme in an ordinary domestic context. Body is iliustrated metaphorically through various industrial capacities. Whilst soul is visualized through textual cliches, religious symbols and banal quotes in connection with capacities. The main theme is divided into subthemes leaving comments on female body, religion, values, good and evil. The instalation reflects on modern, at times superficial and material society orientated in expositional, external self expresion based on imitations. Body and soul is perceived pragmatically and even mercantile in everyday life. The instalation was exhibited during 6th Ceramic Art biennial in Vilnius.
