Flax linen, cotton, natural dyes

Textile collage, that is a part of the textile series “Local Colour”, was exhibited as a Master’s work in Latvian Academy of Art. The Blanket is made from many fabric pieces, dyed with surrounding leafs, petals, water and minerals, collected in long research process of natural textile dyeing. Local colors and historical traditions are connected in one new visible story with sadness tint and touch of eternity.
