Like cells within a larger whole, we collectively form a single organism. To be the same and at the same time part of all other forms – a small transformation of a fragment of the world’s flesh – is a metamorphosis of possibilities. It is not simply a sequence of two differences, but rather the impossibility of replacing the other: the paradoxical coexistence of distant possibilities within the same life.
Let this “abstract figuration” serve as a kind of language through which to acknowledge our connection with the surrounding organic matter.
