,,BECAUSE IT’S WORSE WHEN YOU GET HOME” is a road surface ripped out of its place, asphalt stretching skywards. It marks the infrastructure in front of our eyes, unnoticed, which reminds us of the idea I heard somewhere: ‘ontology is the ontology of former infrastructures – the better and higher quality the infrastructure, the less we notice it’. In the same way, we only notice the road when it cracks, when it gets clogged up, and that is why we want to look for something on this road that works, that merges into a functioning construction, that is active in its being every day, but that slips past our keen observation.
