An idea of this painting came from a fashion book I flicked through at Waterstones bookstore in London. I saw this image of a lady in cosmic outfit and immediately knew I want to paint a cat in the costume. The cat models were two – my late beloved Siamese Alisa and my foster birma cat Simmo. I also wanted to express how I see energetic connection of human/cat and the planet..
