The cycle of drawings “Uncomfortable Reality” is a series of portraits of five individuals experiencing homelessness who live in a temporary accommodation facility. The visual expression of the portraits is inspired by the experiences, memories, and stories these people shared during our meetings. The drawings accentuate fragments of their everyday lives, character traits, inner states, and emotions. The process and results of the project were focused on the humanity, individuality, authenticity, and versatility of these individuals, aiming to reduce the stigma they face. The cycle of drawings “Uncomfortable reality” was the final bachelor’s work for graduating Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2023
