The painting “2 Monkeys” is about us — about a world where everything has to move faster, be better, and achieve more. Two red monkeys balance on a line as if on the edge of life — between calm and overloaded “progress.” They look at each other as if measuring who is holding on better — just like us, competing even in stillness. The blue background is the silence we rarely hear, because we are too busy with movement. The work reminds us: balance is not where there is more — but where there is enough.
