Vertti Turunen (b. 2000, Helsinki) works with found objects, hands-on making, and spatial thinking. He is studying sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki. In 2025, Turunen took part in the Academy’s BFA Exhibition as well as in a group exhibition at the Ateneum Art Museum, organized as part of the Ateneum Late event. In 2024, he participated in Endless Drop, a group exhibition at Kuva/Tila in Helsinki. In 2023, he took part in Generation 23 in Amos Rex Art Museum in Helsinki, where he was awarded a working grant by the Konstsamfundet.
