Urtė Pirugytė (b. 2002, Panevėžys, Lithuania) is a graduate of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, specializing in site-specific art. She completed her studies at Panevėžys Art School in 2018 and has been actively participating in exhibitions since 2022. Her practice spans installation, mixed media, and illustration, often engaging with space, narrative, and sensory experience.
Pirugytė’s recent projects include the duo exhibition Between the Forms of Being at Anykščiai Library (2025) and two international exhibitions at Leonpolis Manor, Second Life and Whispers (2025). Other notable participations include Panorama at Panemunė Castle (2022) and Art Code. Synesthesia, part of the Alytus Biennial of Young Creators (2024). She has also held several solo exhibitions, including Consequences (Panevėžys Culture Centre, 2022), Lost (Anykščiai Culture Centre, 2023), When You Close Your Eyes (Ramygala Culture Centre, 2023), and an exhibition at Panevėžys Old Town Gallery (2025).
Beyond her exhibition work, Pirugytė engages in diverse creative practices, such as producing a light installation for the Radviliškis Festival Jazz Campfire (Džiazo laužai, 2024). In 2025, she illustrated and designed the cover for the poetry collection Slenkstis.
