Ulvi Haagensen

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Ulvi Haagensen (born 1964 in Sydney, Australia) is a visual artist who trained in Sydney and has been exhibiting since 1990. She lives in Tallinn, Estonia and teaches at the Estonian Academy of Arts, where she is a doctoral candidate. Exploring the aesthetics of the everyday, her work depicts and interprets everyday motifs and domestic activities. Ulvi Haagensen has shown work in Australia, Estonia, Finland, South Korea, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Sweden.
