Taru Happonen Emerging artist

Artist's country of origin: Finland

Taru Happonen is a visual artist living and working in Helsinki. She is finishing her master’s studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki. Taru’s latest solo exhibition was at Gallery Huuto in Helsinki in 2020. The most recent group exhibitions have been e.g. Kuvan Kevät 2021 – MFA Degree Show of the Academy of Fine Arts, Top 100 group exhibition in London (invitational exhibition) and joint exhibition at the Finnish Painters’ Association’s gallery in Helsinki. Taru Happonen’s works are included in HUS’s (Helsinki University Hospital) art collection as well as in private collections in Finland and the United Kingdom. Her works have also been included in the annual Finnish Art Association’s Art Lottery. She belongs to the Finnish Painters’ Association and the Finnish Bioart Society. Her next solo exhibition is at Gallery Forum Box in Helsinki in 2022.
