Tarmo Roosimölder

Artist is based in: Estonia

Tarmo Roosimölder (1970) studied geology at the University of Tartu, but as a painter and printmaker he is largely self-taught, having further developed his skills, among other places, in Tõnis Laanemaa’s drawing studio. His artistic language has been shaped by the contrast between desert hikes during his secondary school years and the Estonian seashore, where the small human figure encounters vast nature. Roosimölder has participated in exhibitions in Estonia and abroad, and his works are included in many private collections. He is a member of the Association of Estonian Printmakers and the Estonian Artists’ Association.
