Stina Isabel Gavrilin ^{Emerging artist}

Stina Isabel graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in photography and BA level Young Artist award for her final work. She mainly operates in the mediums of video, image and sound. It’s creatively important for her to constantly question any kind of socially established norms and structures. Always drawing inspiration from music and its relationship with society and the individual, her previous work has mostly been focused on alternative subcultures through a more personal and introspective approach. Taking music and introspection to a more universal level, her recent work aims to offer the viewer a mentally and physically tranquilizing experience, all the while staying true to her characteristic raw audiovisual style.
