Silvia Pärmann (1979) is an Estonian photographer whose underlines the global problems that have been overlooked but which can no longer be bypassed. Silvia Pärmann is an Estonian photographer whose work points to the problems that have been overlooked but cannot be avoided anymore. Silvia’s work focuses on the relationship and conflicts between human and the surrounding environment e.g. the situation in unrecognised countries or the ecological footprint of man on the planet.

Silvia Pärmann graduated Tartu university’s Faculty of Law and has over the years completed several photography courses and workshops. Silvia Pärmann won the third place in the Pentax Portrait of the Year competition in 2018.
