Sabīne Vernere (born 1990 in Kuldīga) graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia with an MA degree in 2018. During her MA programme, Vernere also studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts – Antwerp printmaking department. While doing her BA studies, Vernere attended Art Academy of Zagreb as a part of an Erasmus exchange project. Before leaving to Belgium, she participated in the MVT project “Blumbergs-Bezgalība” with a personal show “Shame-less” in 2016. She has also participated in several group shows, such as “Student Diaries” at Art station Dubulti and “Enlightenment of Precipitation” at the exhibition hall Cita Nova, Liepaja. She has also taken part of a group show at gallery Noorus in Tartu.
