Naima Neidre (1943) is a printmaker, illustrator, and watercolourist who has
worked at a high professional level for many years. Her works, characterised by
an exceptionally sensitive visual language, weave together stories of nature, the
sea, and people. Neidre graduated in printmaking from the Estonian State Art
Institute in 1971 and has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Estonia
and internationally. Her work is included in many public and private collections,
and she has received several awards, including the Kristjan Raud Award (2004).
Neidre is a member of the Association of Estonian Printmakers and an honorary
member of the Estonian Artists’ Association.
